Very narrow insight to why e-commerce is succeeding.

One reason e-commerce is strong... variety...

Every retailer in the world has the same opportunity to offer a better / expanded assortment, without necessarily permanently expanding toy sections, but the challenge is to get in front of the people and for those people to be forward-thinking and take some risk.

We blame the big toy companies for the lackluster sales because they scaled back and it is easy for those doing the finger-pointing. the innovation, variety and sales are out there is huge way... just look past the status quo which is the east path.

If brick and mortar would be willing to think outside the box and status quo they could compete, but the status quo is the preference.
