I suppose they could have made Bazooka Joe trendier just like Archie Comics but that's a turnoff to all who wax nostalgic on this icon. I'd rather they abandon over bastardization.

Graphically, the boxes look like they're from Wonka which must have appealed to more retailers. A hope is that with improved sales we'll see an eventual return to the iconics just like Throwback Pepsi.

If they really wanted to get the kids' attention, they'd have an offer for a free, "bazooka gun'. Kids love rocket launchers!
