Andrea Angiolino

The novel is very interesting, as the author of an Italian game dictionary for Zanichelli I have been called to help in the editing of the local translation. The game is actually Avalon Hill's Rise and Decline of the Third Reich by Don Greenwood and John Prados. Bolano was a fond wargamer himself and his portrait of the "geek" champion is very lively. It has been found and published after his death and it is actually incomplete. But an interesting read for gamers, especially former wargamers that played in the '70s and '80s.
