This is an interesting article. I like the idea of a 21st Century Toy Company. It's a wonderful topic for all of us in the toy industry to consider. What constitutes a 21st Century Toy Company? As a mom, inventor and citizen of the planet, I'd have to say that besides offering engaging and imaginative play choices, a 21st Century Toy Company is one that leads on environmental sustainability in their manufacturing, packaging and logistics.

Yes, evolutionary toys for those who are closest to the source of why we are all here!
Excellent!!! I have some ideas as well...anyone interested in them?

We would love to hear them.

In my 40 years in the Toy Ind. I was always a believer that a toy store should be set up by age group rather then catagories.
For instance 4 to 7 age group would contain all categories for that group. A customer would not have to walk all over the store looking for toys that fall into that age group.
Each age group would contain science, dolls, building sets, arts and crafts, etc.
whether they were boy or girl items.
