I was riding along FDR Drive on New York’s Upper East Side yesterday when I spotted a mural that ran for hundreds of feet along a construction fence. It contained a wonderful array of brightly colored race cars. It was a feast for the eye. I don’t know if Mitchell Schorr was thinking of toy cars when he painted it but it sure looked like that to me. The piece is called DaRaceStreetLegal. Here are some examples of his work:
