Carol we had that experience looking for a Britta Water Pitcher for my daughter when she went to college. My brain said it would be in housewares -- I think because of the word Pitcher. But is is located in DIY section (formerly hardware).

Kim, you just validated something that has happened to me so many times. Maybe retailers should focus on putting the products that survived rationalization in more than one place? Perhaps that is the next phase as opposed to bouncing back to adding items back in to where they always were.
